When vinified with non-interventionist methods, the result is a distinct wine that faithfully reflects what the vineyard naturally expresses. Their winemaking is currently managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani.Īndrew and Adam believe the best wines are the result of a healthy relationship between man and nature, and that a vineyard managed in harmony with the greater ecosystem results in more site-specific wines that represent a sense of time and place. The winery was founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley. Scribe Winery in Sonoma produces many vibrant wine varietals such as Rosé, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and also my favorite red, Cabernet Sauvignon!! Scribe has an organic garden on the property, which allows for a farm to table experience to pair with tasty wines!!
The Wine Tasting and Food Experience is something you cannot miss during your visit. As a Napa Valley resident, I’m happy to provide this tip because Scribe was one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever visited. Napa and Sonoma have numerous outstanding wineries to visit, and it can be overwhelming to choose the best ones if you are visiting for a short period of time. Who else wants to spend a day or at least an afternoon at this wonderful winery called Scribe? I had a such a great time there and I’m so happy to be posting about our experience in the “Hacienda”!!
